The HPSDR LPU (http://www.tapr.org/kits_lpu.html)is a low noise power supply for HPSDR. It comes as a kit and is interesting because of the twenty-eight or so surface mount components. As this is my first project with any number of hand soldered surface mount components, it’s not particularly pretty, but my assembled power supply works!
In addition to experimenting with the Hermes transceiver, I also assembled the Hermes breakout board (https://www.tapr.org/kits_hermes_breakout.html). This board makes it a lot easier to access some of the key lines from the 26-pin connector of the Hermes. It’s easy to assemble, but I did get a bit of superglue on the bottom of the board. It doesn’t hurt anything, but doesn’t look very nice.
